The club was founded by Jody Banim, a UEFA-qualified coach and former professional footballer who began his journey within Manchester United’s youth system before enjoying a senior playing career.

Jody created Stretton JFC to bridge the gap between grassroots football and the professional academy environment. He leads the club’s football programme, coaching curriculum and player-development pathway.
